The Albanian scene, today celebrates the birth anniversary of the outstanding actor, director and pedagogue Kujtim Spahivogli. He was born in Lushnja on June 30, 1932, remaining orphan, had a difficult snack. At the age of 14, along with his brother and sister, they were thrown into the Partisan squadrons and fought fascism with weapons. After the liberation, he attended the Jordan Misja Artistic Lyceum and graduated from the Moscow Theater Institute. He began his artistic career at the National Theater as an actor and director. K.Spahivogli, was among the founders of the Higher Institute of Arts, where he gave lectures on the actor’s mastery and directed the Branch of Drama. There are dozens of scaled-down roles, dozens of Albanian and foreign partisans who have been living under his direction. There are several generation of actors, prepared by him, who are still playing on stage today. The rebellious and liberal artist, dismissed and excluded from the party, has the great credit that in 1968 he established the Vlore Theater, while in 1974 he put in Skopje the comedy “KorCa Carnival”, which the viewer And criticism, described it as the cornerstone of the “National Theater”.
