On November 30th, 1967 a powerful earthquake damaged, the district of Dibra and Librazhd. In many localities, 70% of the houses were demolished and were heavily damaged. Nearly 20 thousand volunteers came to aid to the damaged districts and in very difficult conditions of the terrain and winter and until January 7th, 1968, were liquidated all the consequences and ruins of this natural disaster.
