While at the Palace of Culture of “student” City in Tirana, 723 students and professors continued their hunger strike with the request to remove the name of Enver Hoxha from their University, in the middle of capital, at 2:05 pm on February 20th, 1991, a large crowd of irritated people broke down and dragged the memorial of the Communist Party leader. This is called the “Day of the collapse of the symbols of dictatorship”.
