The anti-fascist fighter, engineer and politician Hajredin Çeliku, was born on May 4th, 1927. He was graduated in mechanical engineering in 1953 and worked as Director of the First Mechanical Plant of Tirana, director of the General Directorate of the Metallurgical Combiner in Elbasan. Several times he was elected MP in the People’s Assembly and from 1976 he was also a member of the Central Committee of the Party of Labor of Albania.
