In New York, on May 28, 1997, patriot Haki Halit Idriz-Terpeza died. He worked for all his life and fought for the freedom of the people and the Albanian lands. In November 1945, he was interned with his father and many other Albanians in Jasapetra, Greece, where many of them were shot. After liberation, he emigrated to the United States of America, where he collaborated with the migrants’ movement for Ethnic Albania.
