Today is commemorated the anniversary of the death of the famous folk musician from Pogradec, Jashar Kovaçi. He was born in 1930 and learned to play in some folk musical instruments and especially played brilliantly in the flute and scratch. With the folk orchestra of Pogradec’s Professional Estrade, he has participated in hundreds of concerts in and out of the country. He died on August 21, 1992.
