In February 366 died the Emperor of the Roman Empire August Julian, the offspring of Flavius Illyrian dynasty. He put the red robe of the Emperor in 360. He is known as one of the most enlightened emperors in the history of ancient Rome. Called “the philosopher Emperor” a staunch defender of classical culture and beliefs; he remains one of the most discussed figures in art and literature at all times.
