On April 27th, 1937, the entire press of the capital was full of photos and many articles about the arrival of the Italian fascist foreign minister in Albania; Earl Ciano would stay for three days and the newspapers would provide a busy program of meetings and visits, which was about the close ties of the royal court with Rome.
