In Bucharest, on March 12th, 1903 was held the Congress of the Patriotic Society “Drita”, where the main issues was the idea of an institutional ecclesial life in the National Movement, the struggle to get the Albanian church, where the sermons were performed in the native language. After the Congress, Nikola Naco, Chairman of the Society “Drita” sent a memorandum to the Great Powers, seeking the autonomy of Albania, Albanian schools and churches.
