Mehmet Ali Pasha
On September 2, 1878, a delegation of the Albanian League of Prizren, asked Turkish Marshal Mehmet Ali Pasha to leave Gjakova. When he refused, Albanian insurgents surrounded the watchtower that was defended by 6 companies, cut telephone ties, and gave 24 hours of Turkish senior officer to leave, but he preferred his war and end.
