On February 9th, 1987, died the professor Ing. Llazar Treska. He followed the Lyceum of Korca and graduated as a forest engineer in France. After returning home, except the work for the protection and development of the forests, he opened the first course for the forestry, by founding the first steps of the professional forestry education in Albania.
