The Albanian world commemorates Dhimitër Pasko, or known as the pseudonym Mitrush Kuteli, an outstanding economist and writer. Born in Pogradec and graduated in economics in Bucharest. During the occupation of the country, he participated in the National Liberation Anti-fascist War, but after the liberation he experienced the imprisonment of prisons and persecution. Dhimiter Pasko, has left economical studies of great value, but in the people he is more familiar with his literary creations in pure Albanian language. The first stories he published since 1920, creating his own style, which also served to many younger colleagues. In his creativity, there are many novels, poems and poems, but also literary critics, mostly dedicated to Fan Noli and Lasgush Poradec. The collection “Early Albanian stories” remains one of the masterpieces of children’s literature. His pen has been sourced in Albanian and some of the masterpieces of world literature. A true treasure, has left Mitrush Kuteli Albanian culture. Dhimitër Paskos’s creations are summarized in 5 volumes and occupy an honorary place in the field of Albanian letters and culture. He died on May 9, 1967.
