The Assembly of Pocem in Mallakastra, was held on July 9, 1943. There, they gathered over 2000 armed men and joined the covenant to fight fascism, which was preparing a major operation, with the participation of over 20,000 troops, for the cleansing of Mallakastra by Antifascist fighters.
