The professor and statesman Mustafa Curri died on April 7th, 1937. After serving several years as a teacher and school director in Elbasan, after Lushnja Congress, he took the post of general secretary of the Council of Ministers and except few months of the Democratic Government rule of Fan Noli, he held this post until his death.
