Today is commemorated the anniversary of the death of the patriot and warrior from Kosovo, Dervish Bajraktari. He was born in Junik in 1918. All his life, he dedicated the fight to liberate Kosovo and for the freedom of his country. For his patriotic activity, he was imprisoned in 1949, and the family was exiled. He passed seven years at UDB’s prisons, but did not give up and continued to fight until the last breath, on December 6th, 1997.
