On January 21st, 1814 in Permet, was born the journalist Medin Kamberi. He graduated in journalism at the University of Rome. After returning home, he founded and directed several Albanian press organs. In 1935, he published the illustrated, literary, social and sports-cinema magazine, “Diana” and two years later the political, social, cultural and economic newspaper “Shtypi”.
