On June 30, 1903, he was born in Korca, pedagogue, historian, “The Teacher of the People” Petraq Pepo. He finished the National Lyceum and the Normale High School in France. She attended the band of the city and the Lions Battalion in support of the June Revolutionary Arms in the school boots, conducting the student relationship, “Shpresa” and the magazine of the same name. In Paris, the Albanian student attended the lectures and at the same time gave the Albanian language and literature to the Institute of East Languages and Civilizations. With the French diploma in his pocket, he gave the history, geography and old greek subjects and fellow citizens in the Korca Lycée, organized fascinating geographical and historical conferences. Recall Professor Pepon and several generations of students from Normales of Elbasan. The anti-fascist teacher did not forget the Duce’s shirts too; Twice shackled him and drowned him in the cell. After liberation, he was the first high school educator who was raised in those years when the bread was absent, the first researcher at the History Institute. 65 years, until he closed his eyes, he did not line up education and research. Some generations of intellectuals, who remember it, and the entire library with articles and books published by him, make Professor Pepon eternal.
