On 2 February 1938 in Hoçisht Devoll, was born the professor and agronomics Jorgaq Çollaku. He dedicated his entire life to fruit-culture development, forest and agricultural economy. For the design of the citrus plantations in the Ionian coast, he has been awarded with the Republic price.
