The foreign Ambassadors, accredited to the Royal Government and members of the International Commission, in a joint meeting held on 2 August 1914, after analyzing the international situation and the domestic situation of the country, concluded that King Wilhelm Vid had to leave from Albania. At the same time, the Dutch officers, who were commanded to organize and run the national gendarmerie, were ordered to return to the Homeland.
