In the context of the military assistance, that Gjergj Kastriot gave to his ally the King of Naples, on November 19th, 1461 took place the battle against Picininos. The opponents were defeated and left the battlefield; this raised more the glory of Skanderbeg and Albanian fighters in the Apennine peninsula.
