The Albanian League of Prizren, in its meeting of August 19, 1878, with the participation of representatives of the parishes of the provinces of Kosovo, Tetovo, Dibra and some other Macedonian cities, ruled not to execute the Sultan’s order to send Albanian troops against the Austro Empire -Hungareze. Most of the representatives called the participation in the war against Austria-Hungary, a military adventure that would annihilate Albania even more. This was undoubtedly a victory over the policy of the Great Gate, to use the Albanian movement in favor of its own policy.
