Died in the prison of Manastir, on Januar 16th, 1910, the patriot Vasil Negovani. He was arrested after the request that services in the Albanian Orthodox churches were carried out in Albanian language.It remains one of the many martyrs who sacrificed for the Albanian language and culture.
