On November 14th, 1923, in Dukagjin began the insurgency against Ahmet Zogu. Also this insurgency was spread to other provinces Puka and Malesia. The insurgency was suppressed by the government forces, but this obligated Ahmet Zogu to be connected strongly with the Italian fascism to preserve his power.
