In the hall “Amicitia” (Friendship), in Bucharest, on April 11th, 1906, were gathered the representatives of three Albanian patriotic societies, “Drita”, “Dituria” and “Shpresa” and were joined in a single society, called the society “Drita”. The aim was the unification of all Albanian immigrants in Romania, to avoid the divisions and unite the forces and means for the opening of an Albanian school and the establishment of the Albanian church.
