Cordell Hull
The Secretary of the US Department, Cordell Hull on December 10th, 1942 made an official statement recognizing the anti-fascist war of the Albanian people and the Albanian independence. “The government of the United States, he said, has never recognized the annexation of Albania by Italy”. Also analogous Declaration in the following days made the foreign ministers of Britain and the Soviet Union.
