On February 1st, 1997, died at the age of 78 the compatriot and professor Skender Hasan Kadriu, He was born in Presheva, studied in Sarajevo and taught at several schools. During the Second World he commanded the Albanian antifascist brigades. After the war, Tito’s regime sentenced to death but was converted to 12 years in prison.
