In the National Assembly of Junik, which was held on 21-25 May 1912, was appointed a new 20-year-old leader from Krasniqi of Malësia of Gjakova, Zeqir Haliti. In the battle of Qaf Morina in 1910, he fought against the Turkish expedition commanded by Shefqet Turgut Pasha. He participated in dozens of major and minor battles, during the general uprising of 1912 and especially in the battle that Albanian insurgents led by Bajram Curri, against the Serbo-Montenegrin invaders, during the years 1912-1913. He was not even 35 years old when he fell to war in 1917.
