The Battle of Fushekosova

Fushekosova battle, dated in 1448, has an echo even today. 568 past years aren’t enough to fade the fuss of this battle. Elaborated later with religious and national elements, Serbia has tried to compare this battle with the death of Christ.

John Hunyadi on the top of alliance of Balkan forces encountered with Ottomans for three years and in the end he was defeated with 20.000 murdered. George Kastriot Scanderbeg was prevented by prince Brankovic of Serbia and was unable to help his allies, leaders of Hungarians. In a disagreement for the direction of Balkan alliance army, Barnkovic sided with Sultan Murat in this war.
