the Orthography Congress of Albanian Language
On November 25th, 1972 finished the Orthography Congress of Albanian Language,a scientific national gathering. In this meeting participated 87 delegations from all around Albania and Albanians that live in their territories in Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and arberesh from Italy. His works were followed up by many foreign Albanologists. The Congress decided to unify the orthography of the entire Albanian nation.On the basis of its work, were compiled the basic works of orthographic, grammatical and lexical rules. The Congress materials were published in the volumes with title, “Orthography Congress of Albanian Language”.
