The massacre of Borova, one of the most macabre events of the War, was carried out by the Nazi invaders on July 6, 1943, as an act of revenge for the hosting of partisan forces against the German division that entered the territory of Albania from Greece. The cruel Nazis raided the village and killed 107 innocent people.
