In Bilisht, Devolli, on June 20, 1938, was born Professor, Doctor of Science, Andon Grazhdani. He completed the Oil Technic in Kucove and worked as a geologist at the Pogradec Medical Enterprise. In 1959 it was possible to attend the Faculty of Geology and Mining in Tirana. After the excellent completion of the studies, he was appointed a scientific employee at the Faculty, his lecturer and dean. Along with the work for the preparation of future geologists, he completed and defended one dissertation after another and gained the scientific titles “Docent”, Doctor of Science and Professor. Andon Grazhdani, author and co-author of dozens of textbooks, studies and geological maps, have been published and republished several times.
