On May 7th, 1840, was born Pjotr Ilic Cajkovski, one of the most prominent Russian and global composers. In the Albanian scenes from his rich production, are shown the operas “Jollanta” and “Evgjeni Oniegin”, as well as the ballets “Romeo and Juliet” and “Arththyesi”. Our orchestral formations, not only in the center, but also in the districts, have interpreted with great success, both inside and outside the country, many of the musical compositions of the genius composer.
