On March 3rd, 1914, Prince Vied accepted the throne of Albania and was named King Wilhelm I. After 4 days, he arrived in Durres. To the King was made a magnificent welcomed. For this purpose, had arrived representatives from all the regions of the country, even from the colonies of Albanian migrants in other countries. The King met for several days the delegations of Mati, Dibra, Shkodra, Korça etc.
