In February 1942, in several cities in Albania, were organized strikes and antifascist demonstrations. On February 22nd, in Tirana, the students of the Woman Institute abandoned the classes and organized antifascist demonstrations. On that day the people of Shkodra clashed with the fascist occupiers and their collaborators.
