On January 26th, 1944, ten thousand Nazi and Quisling troops began the operation in six directions in Përmet-Lunxheri Zagoria. On that day was inaugurated the establishment of the VI partisan brigade which was baptized as the unit of the Great Anti-Fascist Coalition.
