On December 15th, 1975, on Shkodra lake, in our territorial waters, was shot by a Yugoslav military ship, the fishing ship “Islam Mustafa”. His captain, father of three children, Fran Ndue Ivanaj, without any fault or cause, fell in duty.This was an open provocation, a threat of the chauvinist neighbors. The National Assembly gave the fisherman, who fell in duty, the highest title of “Hero of the People”.
