On September 30th 1876, in Korça, was born the musician and patriot Spiridon Ilo. He, early migrated in the United States, where besides the daily work, he followed his studies in music. He was the first Albanian, to build a company for manufacturing gramophone discs and recorded many patriotic and Albanian folk songs.
