At Kazaz of Shkodra, on July 29, 1835, at 7 am, a gun shot between Albanian insurgents and invading forces. Fighting lasted more than 4 hours. On both sides there were many killed and injured. On the battlefield, fell and commander of Albanian insurgents Hamza Kazazi. The Battle of Kazazi erupted because the insurgents broke off at Buna, at the point called St. John’s Stone, in order to stop the supply of invading armed forces and food.
