For the protection of Plava and Gucia, by the Montenegrins occupation, on October 28th, 1879, were gathered 700 volunteers from Shkodra, leaded by Isuf Sokoli and Filip Ceka, and 300 highlanders from Dukagjini and Kelmendi. With them were joined 20 battalions with highlanders armed, volunteers to protect the integrity of motherland.
