The insurgents operating in Drenica-Mitrovica-Podujeve-Pristina area with attacks on the Turkish army during June 1912 had created a very difficult situation for the invaders. In the battle that took place at Senica Bridge on June 28-29, they broke two Turkish battalions. The punitive action taken against Isa Boletini, who had gathered about 1,500 insurgents, did not yield any results.
