Benito Musolini
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the declaration of independence on November 26th, 1937, the government of Mussolini donated to the royal government of Albania 2 million gold francs for the construction of Durres-Tirana road, the building of “Shelter of the poor”, and for the destitute of the capital.
