invading forces, after withdrawing from Korça, would release the city for the Greek army wards, fueled revolt among Albanians. Concern from the created situation is expressed in the letter of the commander of “Albanian Borders”, Rejnar-Lespinas, which he sent to his superiors on August 24, 1919. And it was precisely the reaction of the people of the Korça region, which caused the next maneuver to fail for a new partition of Albania.
