On November 23rd, 1843, in Fransita of Kozenca in southern Italy, was born the poet, linguist and arbëresh folklorist, Bernard Bilota. He was among the initiators of two Arbëresh linguistic congresses that were held in Kalirjanë Kalabro, in 1895 and in 1897 in Lunger. He published in Albanian two volumes of poetry and in Italian five works with linguistic, archaeological and historical character. In 1967, in Tirana, was published his poem “The sword of Skanderbeg”. From his works have remained in manuscript other interesting works that speak about the habits, life and the language of the arbëresh people.
