Jani Germenji was born in Cairo on February 20th, 1913. He finished the Lyceum of Korça and the Dental School in France. After graduating he opened the dental clinic in Korca and then in 1947 he went in Erseka, opening the first dental clinic in this city. After three years he went in capital where he worked for 22 years, and even after his retirement.
