In the middle of Tirana, on April 20th 1924, Isuf Reçi, wounded to death one of the leaders of the democratic opposition, Avni Rustemi. To cover the tracks of the real assassin, the governmental bodies, killed as perpetrators three sons of the antimonarch Ram Taf Lika, from the White Mountain , Milot. The real killer of Avni Rustemi during the fascist occupation of Albania became a spy for foreign invaders and in February 1944, was executed by the guerilla units of Tirana. The killing of Avni Rustemit, was the spark that ignited the flame of June Revolution, on 1924.
