In Boboshtica, Korca, on January 20th, 1899, was born the journalist and publicist Gjergj Bubani. He wrote and directed several organs of the Albanian press in Romania and Albania. He is the first director of Radio Tirana. Has left a number of articles and satiric books “Brumbulli në gaz”, “Satira në vargje”. As a translator brought in Albanian some drama and comedy of Viktor Eftimiu. In 1945, was sentenced to 15 years in prison. Four years after his release died in Tirana in 1954.
