In Gjirokastra, on July 15, 1913, Halim Budo was born, one of the most prominent employees of the Albanian Diplomatic Service. After graduating from Korca Lyceum and graduating for a lawyer at the University of Lyon, he headed for the difficult school of Lufta Antifascist; Was arrested and exiled to Porto-Romano. He took part in a gun at hand in the National Liberation War. The diplomatic service started without ending the anti-fascist war, as a member of the National Liberation Army delegation, at the Allied Forces Headquarters in Bari. After the war, in 1947, he was appointed Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1951, Ambassador to Czechoslovakia in 1961, Permanent Representative of Albania to the United Nations. He was separated from life in 1971.
