Elena Gjika
In the letter that Elena Gjika has written to De Rada on November 14th, 1866 stressed the need to establish a literary association, for the collection of folk songs, archival and cultural manuscripts. Also she suggested the establishment of the Albanian Academy in Calabria with national character, for which the famous Garibaldi, friend of Arbersh and Albania, was aware and supported this idea.
