The G-7 finance ministers and international financial institutions, in the meeting of 13 July 1999 in Brussels, defined the perspective of the reconstruction of Kosovo destroyed by war. This constituted an important measure for Kosovo’s economic independence from Serbia and facilitated its integration into Europe.
