Austro-Hungary in Albania
Despite the neutrality proclaimed by the great powers, in January 1916, the armies of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, in pursuit of the Serb forces that had invaded northern Albania, entered in Shkodra, Durres, Tirana, Elbasan until Vjosa, where was set the front line with the Italian army. Meanwhile in Pogradec was set the front line with the Greek army, and later, with French ones.
